Squished Dome Necklace

Squished Dome Necklace

Individually hammered and squished, each dome is joined at the waist, moving ever so slightly to fit the curve of the neck and chest comfortably.

The Sterling Silver domes are hollowed out to reveal the color of the skin, while the Gold-Dipped Domes shine brightly along the neckline. The marriage and balance of the two are carefully considered in number and weight. This is a head-turner.

Also available as a bracelet.

This piece is a part of the Dome Series, a sub-drop of DUALITY, investigating form and volume in its construction and deconstruction, a structural element of design, and a building block of 3-Dimensional objects.

Ethos

The FforFarah Jewelry Experience is a small fraction of Farah's art practice - one that redefines aesthetics and ornament through handmade wearable objects that question form, material, wearability and function with a primary focus on it’s relationship to the body.

Farah handcrafts all her pieces from scratch, come watch and experience it in person in her new studio/gallery in Maadi on street 232.
